Cherie's Spaghetti Carbonara

This is a good main dish, is good to have garlic bread with it. I dont usually drain the fat from the bacon and sausage, you can and then add olive oil for more healthy lower fat.. the olives and mushrooms and even sausage are optional, some people even add parsley on top.
1 pound spaghetti noodles,
1 pound bacon cut into 1 inch pieces (some people use turkey bacon)
1 med or large onion chopped.
6 beaten eggs
2 cups fresh grated parmesan cheese
1 pound Itallian sausage
1 can black olives chopped
1 small can sliced mushrooms
In a bowl, mix eggs and parmesan together, set aside.
In a large pot of bowling water add olive oil (or vegetable oil) and cook speghetti till done, drain. set aside.
In a large skillet, fry bacon until slightly crisp, remove and place on paper plate, or paper napkin to drain.
Fry sausage in bacon grease, when done, add chopped onion and cook until onion is translucent. add olives, and mushrooms.
Add the spaghetti and heat through. add egg cheese mixture and use tongs or fork and stir to coat noodles, until eggs are barely set.
Sprinkel bacon on top and serve.

If too dry you can add alittle more olive oil.
